Bella Grinhute
Bella Grinhute is a native born Israeli, who studied at Bar Ilan University.
In Israel she taught Hebrew at ulpaniot, high and elementary schools.
Bella came to Canada 12 years ago, and since then has been teaching Hebrew
at Vancouver Talmud Torah, Beth Tikvah, Beth Israel, and Or Shalom synagogues.
Additionally she has taught at Langara College and Simon Fraser University.
Rahel Halabe
BA Hebrew University (Arabic language & literature, Teaching diploma, Translation diploma), MEd. UBC (Language & Literacy). Has translated 9 published books from Modern Arabic literature into Hebrew. Has taught the Introduction to Biblical Hebrew, a program she has developed, at the Vancouver school of Theology, the JCC, and now at UBC. Teaches the weekly JCC Modern Hebrew courses. She has also developed and teaches the Modern Hebrew Mini Ulpaneem program at the JCC.

Fay Hassall
Fay was born in Zimbabwe, studied languages and majored in Latin and Hebrew
in Capetown. Fay has taught Hebrew at many schools and the JCC for 14
years.
Shoshana Hofman
A native of Israel, Shoshana has been teaching Hebrew in the Diaspora
for over 30 years. In Canada, she has taught at Beth Tikvah, Beth Israel,
and Vancouver Talmud Torah. Shoshana has been teaching adult education
at the JCC for over 25 years. She also teaches the Summer Mini-Ulpanim.
Naava Soudack
A native of Israel, Naava has taught at UBC Hillel, Vancouver Talmud Torah,
Beth Israel, Har El and Temple Sholom and the JCC for 14 years.
Haya Newman
was raised in Israel, speaking both Hebrew and Yiddish. Her teaching Diploma
from Montreal certifies her to teach both these languages which she has
done in Canada for over twenty years teaching children as well as adults.
