Located
at 950 West 41st Avenue, the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver
offers exceptional cultural, educational, recreational and social programs
and services. It is the home of various leading Jewish organizations,
including the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver. Over generations,
thousands of members, volunteers and donors have made the JCCGV what it
is today. The JCCGV is a gathering place that reflects and accommodates
the diverse needs of Vancouver-area Jews. No wonder the JCCGV is simply
referred to as the "Centre"; it is truly at the heart of our
community.

MESSAGE FROM
THE PRESIDENT AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
New fitness equipment at the JCC!
Through a very generous donation from one of our key
supporters, we’ve purchased the latest and greatest in cardiovascular fitness equipment.
Our Board of Directors and staff, after analyzing data
returned from our first benchmarking project, listened to
our membership, and approved the purchase of new Precor elliptical trainers, treadmills, and stationary bikes. Some of
the equipment will have multi-functional entertainment
centers built-in.
The gift supporting the purchase of the equipment was
strategic, in that it serves the Centre in multiple ways.
The equipment is the latest version on the market, which should enhance usage of our fitness centre, for both existing and future members. Most importantly, the health and fitness levels of our members can be improved significantly.
We would like to thank all of our donors and supporters, who help us help our community.
Please visit the The Syd Belzberg Family Fitness Centre, make an appointment for an orientation from our expert staff, and take advantage of our new cardiovascular exercise equipment.
