Dance started when people needed to communicate and celebrate, and most of all tell a story. Dancers will try different methods of storytelling through movement (Jazz, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre styles), focusing on how to captivate an audience, how to own your space on stage and how to express yourself as a dancer. But most of all, how to have fun!

They are here to encourage creative growth, to teach the skills and techniques of their arts, to stimulate and challenge the students into exploring their artistic potential.
The JCCGV offers superb facilities, plenty of convenient on-site parking and a great café, Nava’s. The Dena Wosk School of Performing Arts uses a variety of spaces at the JCC, including the Norman Rothstein Theatre, the two Dance Studios, the Wosk Auditorium and many other instructional rooms.
