Madrichim in Training gr 8-10

Learn to become an outstanding Madrich (leader) through workshops and experiential learning.

The MIT’s will participate in group & special activities lead and inspired by our senior JCCGV Camp Shalom Staff. This year-long program will give them support, training and experience necessary to become confident and skilled Madrichim. First aid training and a camping trip are included in the program. Graduates will receive a certificate of completion and a reference letter.

Youth Leadership: Israeli Style

Directly from Metulla, Israel, Omri Markvitch will teach his best leadership techniques.

If you like children and youth, you worked at a camp before, you are just curious, or simply want to have a good time while exploring your full potential as a leader, this program is for you!

Instructor Omri Markvitch is an officer in the IDF Special Forces and currently studies special education at Tel Hai University. For the past two years Omri has worked as the Youth Coordinator at the Metulla Community Center, working with youth of all ages.
